NCHSAA Student-Athlete Eligibility COVID-19 FAQ

The Pinecrest Athletic Department will transition to digital, mobile-only ticketing in November.
On game days, Pinecrest fans will now gain entry into each venue by utilizing digital tickets from their mobile device, eliminating the need for printed, physical tickets. The move to digital ticketing provides the safest, easiest and most convenient option for access into events. Pre-purchasing only on the digital platform or use of a credit card at the Box Office on game days will be the only methods for purchasing a ticket. Paper money will no longer be accepted at entry points as we transition to a safer environment for all in these changing times. The GoFan ticketing platform will be used as the source for digital tickets. The only time tickets will be available on-site is when a school's allotment of tickets does not sell out in advance. Pinecrest will also have a new ticket gate setup that will help promote social distancing, while limiting person-to-person contact and the need for a physical exchange of cash.
Digital Ticketing and New Cashless System has been introduced since the start of the 2020-2021 school year.
Currently, no sports passes will be honored until the state removes the indoor/outdoor spectator restrictions.

Dear Patriots,

It is our intent, within the Department of Athletics at Pinecrest High School, to provide you with an opportunity to learn and mature as an individual while preparing you to become a productive member of society. Athletics is by no means the most important element within our High School Structure.

Athletics is, however, the most visible segment within that structure. Accompanying that exposure is a tremendous amount of responsibility.

People often form their opinions of a school based on their perceptions of the athletic programs and those male and female student-athletes who participate in the athletics program. As the Athletic Director, I ask each of you to be constantly aware that you represent our school, community, and Moore County Schools. You have an opportunity to make Patriot Nation extremely proud!

Our Administration, Teachers and Coaches are committed to orient and educate you to the important role you play in our collective efforts to build a quality program at Pinecrest High School.

I welcome you to this school year and always remember -

"It's a great day to be a Patriot!!!"

GO PATS,

Jeff Hewitt
